Marmaduke is being defended by his owner-lady for a very drawn-out yawn, the force and/or volume of which caused his extremely hungover owner-man a great deal of physical pain.

Marmaduke is trying to eat his pathetically naive owner-girl's lunch.

Marmaduke becomes a whirling dervish of spinning tail and gratuitous onomatopoeia when eating dinner. His owner-girl's androgynous friend wandered too close to the grisly scene, and his or her ass paid a hefty price.

Marmaduke attempts to trade his owner-girl his dog biscuit for her cookie, but she isn't having any of it, even though Marmaduke could probably just take the cookie if he wanted to and eat her for good measure (since, as today's strip clearly demonstrates by giving us a close-up of Marmaduke and girl next to each other, he is ABSOLUTELY FUCKING HUMONGOUS).

Marmaduke displays an absurdly stuck-up and finicky type of brand loyalty when chasing cars.

Marmaduke's owner-man thinks his dog is asking for a bone. In fact, Marmaduke is actually "raising the roof" in regards to the incredible fishing success his owner-man had just detailed.

Marmaduke asked for and was granted a rear entrance to his doghouse, just so his tail could fit out the back. Presumably his owners were willing to carry out such an asinine request because of how enormously impressive it must have been for a dog to communicate such a specific desire.

Joe Mathlete is in Ohio

So just chill out and look at this. I have no idea what it's from. Someone else showed it to me, and he says he doesn't know what it's from either. This will have to do for my blog entries this week.

Marmaduke is getting some love from several beach honeys while his owner-man longingly gazes at the forbidden fruit. His wistful ogling does not go unnoticed by Marmaduke's owner-lady, and their marital tensions are pushed to the breaking point.

Marmaduke picked up his inordinate slothfulness from his owner-man (to whom, as it was recently revealed, he is related).
